And it’s painful because you can tell it’s going to end. It’s painful and it’s slow and it’s torturous because you know from the start it’s not going to work out. If in a fictitious land, a fictitious couple cannot succeed, what fictitious hope is left? Don’t be seduced by the songs and the guitars and the bright nights. Don’t believe in the lust and the passion and the rushes of blood.
Love is as slow and monotonous as life. Living and breathing and waiting and dying. But it’s the worst when love becomes tired. It’s not that you stopped loving, it’s that you got too tired to love and care.
